how it works 

THE PROCESS

Initial Session The treatment begins with a deep cleanse and numbing application. Then, using the ProCell device, we create microchannels in the skin while infusing it with a potent blend of stem cell-derived growth factors, peptides, and cytokines to achieve next level absorbtion and enhanced enhanced collagen production.

Healing Process Immediately after the treatment, the skin may appear flushed, similar to a mild sunburn. Unlike traditional microneedling, microchannels close within 60-90 minutes, reducing downtime to just a few hours instead of days.

Long-Term Results Skin regeneration continues over the next few weeks as collagen rebuilds, revealing a smoother, firmer complexion. Collagen can continue to build for months under the surface. For optimal results, a series of treatments spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results

GUIDELINES

  • You are NOT a suitable candidate for Microchanneling if you have any of the conditions listed below.

    • You are pregnant

    • You have diabetes

    • You have taken Accutane in the last 6 months

    • You are undergoing chemotherapy.

    • You have active herpes simplex

    • You have any inflammatory skin condition like psoriasis, eczema, or dermatitis

    • You have overly dry skin, you will need to start a moisturizing regimen and ensure the condition is under control prior to undergoing MicroNeedling treatment.

  • Unlike traditional microneedling the aftercare is minimal and simple! Only 90 minutes of downtime where you can not apply anything or touch your skin as those channels are wide open for 90 minutes.

    You will need to avoid direct sunlight and sweaty exercise for 24 hours. Along with the use of AHAs and/or retinol for at least 5-7 days.

    Otherwise the most important thing is to keep the skin Moisturized + Hydrated! The more you moisturize the better your results will be​.

    Apply SPF daily.

  • - If you get cold sores regularly, take your preventative medication one day prior to your Microchanneling to reduce the likelihood of a breakout post treatment.

    - Do Not use Retin A, Retinol or Tretinoin for at least 1 week prior to treatment.

    - No chemical peels for 2+ weeks.

    - No facial injections for 2+ weeks.

    - No cosmetic tattoos for 8+ weeks.​

FAQs

  • The number of treatments necessary will range depending on what we are treating, your goals, and the current state of your skin.

    On Average I recommend:
    Series of 3 for skin rejuvenation.
    Series of 6 for anti-aging concerns Series of 8+ for Scarring.

    Greatest improvements will be seen after a series of six consecutive procedures, 3-6 weeks apart.

    There is no limit to the number of treatments that one can receive as long as 3-6 weeks passes in-between each treatment.

  • The stem cell derived growth factors that maximize results are the central feature that distinguished the Procell treatment. As to the microneedling device, Procell Microchanneling uses a stamping technique which causes less damage and unnecessary trauma to the skin than any other technique.

  • Though neocollagenesis (the production of new collagen) can take several weeks, it is not abnormal to notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments a thicker more robust, collagen filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity and wrinkles.

  • Microchanneling is has extremely minimal discomfort compared to traditional microneedling. We also numb you prior to treatment to make it more comfortable.

  • Microchanneling stimulates the body to release peptides, cytokines and growth factors that induce collagen production. As you get older, the stem cells that produce these vital proteins lose efficacy and decline in population, so microchanneling alone becomes less and less effective.

    Because of premature aging, the Microchannel Delivery Serum and the post care Cellular Renewal Serum and Healing Accelerator Serum become more vital to improvement. Use of the ProCell aftercare products ensure the skin continuously receives potent, robust, pristine peptides, cytokines and growth factors even in between treatments.

    Think of diet and exercise – microchanneling without serums is like exercising without dieting. Results can be good with microchanneling only, but are significantly amplified with serums and prescribed home care routine.
