Lip Blush is a soft cosmetic tattoo that enhances and restores your natural lip shape with a sheer, flushed tint—think of it as blush for your lips. Unlike lipstick, it’s not meant to dramatically alter or reshape your lips but rather to enhance their natural beauty with a subtle wash of color. THE PROCESS

Virtual Consultation - Determine if this service is right for you. Some restrictions apply (see FAQs below).

Initial Session – We’ll discuss your goals, select your ideal shade, and map your lip shape for approval. After applying a numbing solution, I’ll layer in the foundational color and shape and will numb you throughout the service. You’ll receive an aftercare kit, and we’ll go over how to care for it as it heals.

Healing Process – Your lips will appear bold at first, then soften and lighten by at least 50% or more over the next few weeks. By 8 weeks, the pigment blooms into its healed hue.

Touch-Up (8 Weeks Later) – This essential session builds up the color and perfects the shape.

Long-Term Results – Your lip blush can last 1-3 years before a refresh is needed, depending on lifestyle and aftercare.

Your healed results depend heavily on proper pre and post-care. Preparing beforehand and following aftercare ensures the best outcome. Some skincare products and treatments need to be avoided beforehand, and certain medical conditions may affect eligibility. Please review before booking!

  • Lip Blush gives the illusion of fuller lips by filling in lip tissue that lacks pigment which can cause our lips to look smaller than they actually are or appear asymmetrical. In these cases, we are able to naturally enhance the lips to restore your lips natural fullness

    However we do NOT tattoo outside your natural lip tissue and make a new shape. We stay within your natural lip line.

    Your lips will swell during the service. Swelling is temporary and will subside in 1-3 days.

  • Choosing the color is a collaborative process. During your appointment, we’ll discuss your goals and preferences, so be sure to bring your favorite lipstick shade for inspiration.

    We’ll consider your natural lip color and select a shade that complements your skin tone while being inspired by your favorite lipstick shade.

  • Lip Blush is a 2-3 step process, you should not expect to see full results after one treatment. Lip pigment will fade 50%+ after the first 5 days, and will remain in the ‘light phase’ for at least 30 days.

    Lip blush is NOT meant as a substitute for lipstick, but as a natural enhancement too lips.

  • Every client is individual but generally 1-3 years before they require maintance. Color retention depends on skin type, age, aftercare, sun exposure, use of certain products, the immune system, medications, and other health factors.

    To get the most out of your cosmetic tattoo you should always wear SPF 30+ or higher daily.

  • For the initial appointment, it will take 4 hours.

    Touch up appointments are 3 hours.
